See the options from snort with -? (I.e snort -?).

 -u <uname> Run snort uid as <uname> user (or uid) after initialization

 -c <rules> Use Rules File <rules>

 -g <gname> Run snort gid as <gname> group (or gid) after initialization

 -i <if>    Listen on interface <if>

 -q Quiet. Don't show banner and status report

Subject: [Snort-users] Explain a line

Hello everybody
I’m creating a systemD startup script in Ubuntu 16 with the following content :

[Unit]
Description=Snort NIDS Daemon
After=syslog.target network.target
[Service]
Type=simple
ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/snort -q -u snort -g snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf -i ens160
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

I want to have an explanation of the following line:  ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/snort -q -u snort -g snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf -i ens160
