[Snort-users] Is it possible to setup inline mode with 1 NIC ?

I don't know of any method that would make that possible. The traffic have to literally pass through Snort between sending/receiving ends. Other useful information can be found here:

As titled, my linux machine have only 1 NIC, and my goal is to setup Snort in inline mode. 
I read this thread (http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/B99JWpGOIyYhwyPTSzW4) with a similar issue, but it is in 2011, so I am hoping that there is a new method to do so currently..
