Jason Billings his team of engineers from Sourcefire will be joining the
Utah SUG meeting on April 24th. The meeting is focused on the Snort
rules language and the creation/modification of rules.

Jason and his team will provide real world examples of rules they've
written and the techniques used to make them effective and efficient.

There will be plenty of Snort swag on hand as well as opportunities to
win free 1-year subscriptions for real time access to VRT rule updates.

More information on the subscription is available at:
http://www.snort.org/vrt/why_subscribe.html

however; it may be beneficial if you read the rules section of the Snort
Users Manual at:
