[Snort-users] problems with wget

I don't think wget will use your browser settings.  I think you have to tell
it about your proxy server.  You can do this globally in the /etc/wgetrc
file or in your local ~/.wgetrc file.

i have a centos machine but wget won't work

i assume it uses the proxy server settings in the browser but i'm not sure

can i force the box to use the proxy when implementing a wget?
