Depends, if you want just a single machine, as I suspect you do, xx should
As a counter example, if you wanted to do a range of 126.96.36.199 through
188.8.131.52 it would be declared as 184.108.40.206/24.
If you're familiar with binary, XX is just a bitmask specifying the number
of most-significant bits to honor, and the rest are treated as wildcards.
