[Snort-users] Bus error (core dumped) snort 1.8.6

To all who can help,

I have recently run into problems on two separate systems both running snort
1.8.6.  I was previously running snort 1.8.3 without any problems.

I have installed snort 1.8.6 on two SUN SPARC 5's with OpenBSD 3.1
installed.  I have the exact same error on both systems when I execute the
command below.

Additionally, my rules file is from the stable branch and it was downloaded
on 10 SEP 02. The command "# snort -dev" works without any problems.  Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
