[Snort-users] logging directory

1) Command-line directives will always override directives within snort.conf.  It's in the FAQ: http://www.snort.org/docs/faq.html#3.12.

2) The default log location by design is /var/log/snort.  To my knowledge, there is no location specified in snort.conf by default.
