Hi Claudiu,
The shell I am using is bash. I have already configured on Redhat
7.0, unfortunately it was a test machine. Now on the production network I am
running Redhat 5.2, so I need to make snort work on my production machine, I
have already tried make clean before make and also autoheader;automake;make.

As I was going through the archive, some one had suggested to
install make 2.77 and higher. I even tried that, but no luck :(

I am sure I am doing some silly mistake, but still can't figure it
out.

 With Regards,
 Santosh M Hulkund
