I'm having problems getting snort-mysql+flexresp-1.8.3-5.i386.rpm
installed. I've searched google and followed the advice I've found, but
the problem continues. Following is the problem:

# rpm -ivh snort-mysql+flexresp-1.8.3-5.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libmysqlclient.so.10 is needed by
snort-mysql+flexresp-1.8.3-5snort

I've installed both MySQL-4.0.1-2.i386.rpm and
MySQL-client-4.0.1-2.i386.rpm. libmysqlclient.so.10 exists on my system
as follows:

# locate libmysqlclient.so.10
/usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.10.0.0
/usr/local/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10.0.0
/usr/local/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10.0.0
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10

I've set my LD_LIBRARY_PATH as follows:

# env | grep LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/mysql:/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql:/usr/lib/qt/lib:/usr/local/kde2/lib:/usr/lib/postgresql/lib:/usr/lib/tk8.2:/usr/local/lib/mysql:/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql:/usr/lib/qt/lib:/usr/local/kde2/lib:/usr/lib/postgresql/lib:/usr/lib/tk8.2:

Also, I've edited /etc/ld.so.conf to include:

# cat /etc/ld.so.conf
/usr/lib
/usr/kerberos/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib
/usr/lib/sane
/usr/local/lib/mysql
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql

And I've run /sbin/ldconfig. Any thoughts on what I need to do in order
to get this RPM installed?

Thanks!
