[Snort-users] Acid/MySQL Problems on OpenBSD2.8

I installed MySQL from source, version 3.23.32. Maybe I should try ports
next. I  am not very familiar OBSD, but I thought it was wierd that it
crashed the entire machine and dropped me at "single-user like prompt", the
good thing is that they supply a hangman-game to play while you scratch your

Did ya install MySQL from source or from the OpenBSD ports tree?  Mine is
from the ports tree and I have had no probs.
