Just joined the group, apologies if this has been
discussed.

snort 1.6.3 is barfing with the same errors on
my Sparc and x86 boxes. snort 1.6 compiled fine,
but 1.6.3 is barfing with the following errors.
Any idea why, and how do I fix it?

LONFIG_FILES=Makefile CONFIG_HEADERS= /bin/sh ./config.status
creating Makefile
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I/usr/include -g -O2 -Wall -c snort.c
snort.c: In function `PrintFmtError':
snort.c:1854: `__builtin_va_alist' undeclared (first use in this function)
snort.c:1854: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
snort.c:1854: for each function it appears in.)
snort.c:1852: warning: `ap' might be used uninitialized in this function
snort.c: In function `ErrorMessage':
snort.c:1888: `__builtin_va_alist' undeclared (first use in this function)
snort.c:1886: warning: `ap' might be used uninitialized in this function
snort.c: In function `FatalError':
snort.c:1919: `__builtin_va_alist' undeclared (first use in this function)
snort.c:1917: warning: `ap' might be used uninitialized in this function
make: *** [snort.o] Error 1

Thanks!
