I noticed that when configuring DAQ v0.6.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, it can't
find my compiled libpcap library (I tried 1.1.1 and 1.3.0), which does
indeed exist at /usr/local/lib. Any ideas? Attached is config.log. The
error message:

checking for pcap_lib_version... checking for pcap_lib_version in -lpcap...
(cached) no

ERROR! Libpcap library version >= 1.0.0 not found.
    Get it from http://www.tcpdump.org
