Hi,
    There is an implementation based on snort-1.8.3 
see http://www.tahi.org/~tanaka/snort/

    The Snort-SNMP Informs over IPv6  is done too.
The CySols group  snortSnmp at ...1085... has done it. It 
requires the net-snmp-5.0 package. (This is in pre-release
form).
